    How do I look
    after and clean Solar Buddies?

    It’s a good idea to clean your Solar Buddies
    sunscreen applicator monthly or when it becomes empty. Simply rinse with warm water and wipe down with a sponge. Leave out to air-dry.

    Avoid leaving your Solar Buddies in direct
    sunlight.

    How
    eco-friendly is Solar Buddies and can I recycle it?

    While it’s not perfect (it still requires plastic
    manufacturing) Solar Buddies is refillable. This means you can buy bulk sunscreen and refill your Solar Buddies applicator to reduce plastic waste.
    It’s a small change, but one that will add up over the years.

    Hard plastic can be placed in kerbside recycling.
    Recycling practices can vary between states and countries, so speak to your
    local council for details.

    Are there
    replacement parts for Solar Buddies?

    Yes, we carry replacement heads so if your sponge or roller ball need an update you can replace just this part.

    Solar Buddies was created by Mums, for kids. But the good news is it’s loved by all ages! Because who likes sticky, greasy hands? Solar Buddies is used by sports enthusiasts, tradies, surfers, cyclists, those with sensory issues — the list goes on.

    How do I use Solar Buddies?

    It’s never been easier (and
    less messy) to slip, slop, slap.

    1. Unscrew the head unit
    2. Fill half-way with sunscreen
    3. Screw it back together
    4. Shake it like a sauce bottle
    5. Un do the cap and roll to apply

    Returns

    We’re happy to refund unopened goods within 30 days of delivery, provided we receive them in their original conditions. For more information on returns, visit our support page. 

    We are happy to refund or exchange any unopened goods within 30 days of delivery, provided that we receive the goods in their original condition. 

    Final sale items may not be returned and all other returns will be approved at our discretion.

    All postage costs are to be incurred by the customer. A restocking fee of 6% of the order value is charged on refunds. If the product is not in original condition (eg. damaged upon receipt, removed from original packaging, tags and packaging removed or has clearly been used), we will be unable to accept the goods and they will be returned to you at your cost.

    We ship from our warehouse in Cheltenham, Victoria via the regular Australia Post. Once an order is placed, it’ll be processed within 72 hours on business days, unless otherwise notified. We currently ship to Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and Singapore.

    We are currently shipping throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

    We ship using Australia Post with flat rate freight within Australia and New Zealand. Freight to Asia is calculated based on the weight of the order. You can check freight costs by adding to cart and entering your address during checkout. Freight will be shown prior to committing to purchase.
