Sure thing. We offer bulk pricing to schools, kindergartens, mum groups, buyer’s co-ops and other groups. We also get involved in fundraising opportunities. Fill out our contact form below and we’ll get back to you with details and pricing. 

We’re happy to refund or credit any full priced, unopened items within 30 days of delivery, as long as they’re returned in their original condition.

Items purchased using a promotional code or discount are not eligible for a refund. In some cases, we may approve a return for store credit.

Buy 2 Get 1 Free Promotions
Our “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” offers are designed to give you great value when purchasing multiple items together, so the free item is only valid when the qualifying items are kept.

If you return any items from a qualifying order, the promotion no longer applies.

In simple terms:

  • You can’t return the paid items and keep the free one
  • If you keep the free item, its full retail value will be deducted from your refund
  • If your return means the offer conditions are no longer met, the free item must also be returned

Any refund will be adjusted to reflect the full retail value of the items you keep.

Final sale items cannot be returned. All other returns are assessed and approved at our discretion.

All postage costs are to be incurred by the customer. A restocking fee of 6% of the order value is charged on refunds. If the product is not in original condition (eg. damaged upon receipt, removed from original packaging, tags and packaging removed or has clearly been used), we will be unable to accept the goods and they will be returned to you at your cost.

Should you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact us at support@minihippoimports.com.au detailing your specific problem and we’ll get back to you promptly.

We guarantee our products against manufacturing defects (like issues with any parts or material defects) for 12 months after your purchase. The only exception is the interior lining of the SoYoung insulated bags, which come with a 6-month warranty. For all warranty claims a proof of purchase is required. 

We don’t guarantee our products for issues related to wear and tear including rips, spills, scratches, chips, mould, fading, warping, stains and odour. Even though our products are designed for kids on the wildest playground adventures, they’re not indestructible.

If you’ve purchased one of our products from an independent retailer, please get in touch with them directly. 

We have an automated ordering system, which means your order is dispatched faster than a kid who spotted an ice cream van. The only downside to our fast shipping? As soon as you place your order it’s already on the way to the address you entered — meaning we’re unable to amend this on our end.

But no stress! You may be able to redirect your order by logging into the Australia Post MyPost webpage and entering your tracking number.  From there, you should find a button to redirect the item to your desired address.

If your order is undeliverable (either due to an incorrect shipping address or failure to accept a delivery) it’ll come straight back to us. If this happens, we’ll get in touch to discuss the next step. Additional shipping charges will apply for reshipment. If you fail to pay the reshipping fee, we’ll refund of the order minus the original freight charge and an AU$15 restocking fee.

Great news! We now off click and collect on orders from our location in Moorabbin. Place your order online via our website and select pick up. Once your order is ready for collection (usually within 24 - 48 hours) we will send you an email with the pick up details and where to grab it.

We ship from our warehouse in Cheltenham, Victoria. 

We use Australia Post’s regular service to get your Mini Hippo goodies to you.

It works like this: Once your order is placed, it’ll be processed within 72 hours (on business days) unless otherwise notified. You’ll receive an email notification once your order is lodged with Australia Post.

These postage timeframes are a general guide on how long your order will take to arrive after it’s lodged. Take note, these times are in addition to our 72 hours processing time.

Melbourne to Metro ACT, NSW, SA and VIC: 2-3 business days

Melbourne to Metro QLD and TAS: 3-4 business days

Melbourne to Regional Australia, NT and WA: 6+ business days

International (hey, distant neighbour): 

Melbourne to Hong Kong: 20-25 business days

Melbourne to Japan: 6-10 business days

Melbourne to Malaysia: 10-12 business days

Melbourne to New Zealand: 2-3 business days

Melbourne to Philippines: 10-15 business days

We know. Just like microwave minutes, time moves slowly when you’re waiting for an online order. Please be patient and remember that these are just general guidelines. We rely on Australia Post’s delivery timeframes and unfortunately, they’re not guaranteed. Delivery to remote areas may take longer, too.

We’re so glad you asked, because we believe you should keep your lunch products in use for as long as possible (and across multiple kids). While we always source high quality products, if you find there’s a part that needs replacing, we offer replacement latches, seals, straps, lids and more. It’s better for you and better for the planet.

Returns and faults

While it’s rare, mishaps do happen. So if for any reason you’re unhappy with your product or you’ve found a fault, fill in the form below or via our chat to the right. You can usually expect a response within 1 working day (but sometimes life, kids and grazed knees get in the way, so allow up to 48 hours). Simple.
