How do I care for my Fluf bag?
Fluf bags are designed to look and smell great. Here’s how to care for your new bag:
- For fast clean: rinse the quick-dry, water-resistant lining
- For full clean: throw the whole bag in the washing machine
- Tumble dry low, or air dry with the bag open to allow air-flow
Any washing tips to keep my bag looking its best?
Our inks and dyes are all water-based, and low-impact, so they are safer for you and our planet than their chemical alternatives. There will be some natural fading over time. Washing inside out with a gentle detergent can help to minimize fading.
Air dry or tumble dry low? Either one is good. The important thing is to make sure your bag gets completely dry. Any fabric will start to develop mold quite quickly if left damp (ie. balled up in a backpack, or in a basement with moisture for more than 24-48 hours). The best way to make sure your bag gets completely dry is to dry it in the sunlight, in a dry area, or in the dryer on a low setting.
Why is there no foil? Doesn’t that work better?
Traditional silver foil linings can crack, tear, and hold onto smells over time. Insulating with felt makes this bag long-lasting, odor-resistant, and better for the environment plus it gives the bag a premium, modern feel.
Does it keep food cold or hot without the foil?
Yes! The felt acts as a natural insulator, keeping your food cooler (or warmer) for a few hours, especially when used with an ice pack. It’s perfect for school or work lunches that don’t need to stay cold all day. For longer days, just pop in a slim ice brick.
Is it leakproof or easy to clean?
Felt is naturally moisture-wicking but not waterproof, so this lunch bag is best used with leakproof containers (like a Yumbox or stainless steel bento). To clean, throw in the washing machine, simply spot wipe or hand wash gently and air or machine dry on low.
We are happy to refund any unopened goods within 30 days of delivery, provided that we receive the goods in their original condition. Returns will be approved at our discretion and all postage costs are to be incurred by the customer. This mean you pay to ship the product back to us and we do not refund the original postage paid on the order.
A restocking fee of 6% of the order value is charged on refunds. If the product is not in original condition (eg. damaged upon receipt, removed from original packaging or has clearly been used), we will be unable to accept the goods and they will be returned to you at your cost.
