Can the Solar Buddies be washed? If so, how?

Washing is super important.
Sunscreen can start to smell when left for a while so it’s important to wash the head every couple of weeks. You can just rinse it with warm water, press on the sponge gently and leave it to air dry completely – it’s easy.

The heads can become clogged with sunscreen, sand and dirt as they’re used, so be sure to pop the rollerball out to clean it.

How long do the Solar Buddies heads last?

They can last for months, but it really depends on how you use and care for them. To prolong their lifespan, we recommend washing at least once a month or when the applicator becomes empty – this will prevent odour, too. Also, leave your Solar Buddies in the shade rather than direct sunlight. Remember that you can purchase replacement heads separately
