Balance and portion control with pre-portioned removable interchangeable illustrated tray. Yumbox Tapas 4-compartment has a four cup volume of 1 x 2⅔ cup, 2 x ½ cups with a ¼ cup small dip/treat well. Yumbox Tapas 5-compartment has a four cup volume of 1 x 1½ cup, 1 x ¾ cups, 2 x ½ cups with a ¼ cup small dip/treat well

How do I clean Yumbox Tapas?

Cleaning is easy thanks to the removeable tray and round edges (phew!) Your Yumbox Tapas can be hand washed or is dishwasher safe on the top shelf (up to 65°C)

Can I replace the tray or latch?

Yes! The Yumbox Tapas features an interchangeable tray design, so you can switch between 4 or 5 compartments. We have a replacement parts section where you can purchase a Yumbox Latch or spare tray if you need to.

Can it fit a sandwich?

Yes, the 4 compartment tray can fit a sandwich, wrap or larger meal. The 5 compartment tray can fit a sandwich if it’s cut up into smaller pieces.

Does Yumbox Tapas fit in a lunch bag?

Yumbox Tapas is the largest in the Yumbox family. But the good news is, it can still fit into a larger lunch bag or tote. See the dimensions for more information.

Is Yumbox Tapas available without the educational illustrations?

Every Yumbox Tapas comes with educational illustrations to make portion control easy. If you’d prefer it without the illustrations, replacement trays are available to purchase separately.

Best straw ever

As someone with major sensory issues this straw is a game changer. My two children are autistic and this is perfect for them. So much better than using soggy paper straws and so easy to clean. My only issue is that my son keeps stealing mine so obviously I need to order him his own set. Very highly recommended, I’m telling everyone I know about these.

Outstanding lunchbox

We have been using this lunchbox since mini hippo started selling them. They are awesome. Washable and easy to keep clean. Ice bricks are amazing. Have had no mould issues in Qld. Great for when the kids are on a growth spurt and you need extra food you just zip it open! Have never had a problem with this product.

Enjoyed by serious snackers

My 5 and nearly 2 year old have been enjoying the separation of food and the "unveiling". I didn't expect it to make such a difference but they've been eating healthier because of the way I am able to set out their food.

It's a bit of a hassle to handwash, but I don't want to risk degrading the image.

I think it's the perfect size for a 4 yr old plus for a full lunch. I would only opt for smaller for snack size.

I chose yumbox over others because it has one latch, minimalist exterior, fun interior design, and I preferred its tray division.

I read reviews saying it's heavy, which it isn't IMO.

Nice large size

I bought the Tapas size for my son starting kindy, fits a whole day's worth of food easily and I like the larger sections compared to the regular Yum Box which we had been using . Snack compartment is big enough for a small serve of yoghurt which doesn't leak. Also great that replacement parts are available .Would make a good lunch box for adults too

Huge !

I’ve been buying Yum boxes and other products from Mini Hippo for the last 8 years, and their quality is still great.
We’ve used the smaller sized boxes with snack boxes, but these larger ones replace the need for the extra boxes as they are so big.

I love that I can put this product in the dishwasher, as many brands were hand wash only and I just can’t be bothered with that.
We bought the yum box dividers too, however they don’t seem to fit well in this size box but are great for the smaller version.

I just wish they had little forks and what not as I am a Yumbox fanboy through and through.
