How do I clean it?

Your Yumbox original can be hand washed or is dishwasher safe on the top tray (up to 65°C) It features a removable tray for easy cleaning.

Can I replace the Yumbox Tray or Yumbox Latch?

We want your Yumbox product to last for as long as possible. That’s why we have a replacement parts section where you can purchase a Yumbox Latch or Spare Tray. We call it mending rather than replacing.

Can it fit a sandwich?

Yes, only if it’s cut up and packed across two sections. If you’re looking for a Yumbox with bigger sections to fit a sandwich, salad or leftovers, try the Yumbox Panino, Tapas or Presto.

What if I can’t find the colour I’m after?

The Yumbox Original Sale is limited because it’s our soon-to-be discontinued stock. If you’re looking for another colour, check out our full range of the Yumbox Original.

Yumbox Tapas Lunch Box

Best straw ever

As someone with major sensory issues this straw is a game changer. My two children are autistic and this is perfect for them. So much better than using soggy paper straws and so easy to clean. My only issue is that my son keeps stealing mine so obviously I need to order him his own set. Very highly recommended, I’m telling everyone I know about these.

Outstanding lunchbox

We have been using this lunchbox since mini hippo started selling them. They are awesome. Washable and easy to keep clean. Ice bricks are amazing. Have had no mould issues in Qld. Great for when the kids are on a growth spurt and you need extra food you just zip it open! Have never had a problem with this product.

Enjoyed by serious snackers

My 5 and nearly 2 year old have been enjoying the separation of food and the "unveiling". I didn't expect it to make such a difference but they've been eating healthier because of the way I am able to set out their food.

It's a bit of a hassle to handwash, but I don't want to risk degrading the image.

I think it's the perfect size for a 4 yr old plus for a full lunch. I would only opt for smaller for snack size.

I chose yumbox over others because it has one latch, minimalist exterior, fun interior design, and I preferred its tray division.

I read reviews saying it's heavy, which it isn't IMO.
