We are currently shipping throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We use Australia Post’s regular service. You should receive an email notification once your order is lodged with Australia Post. Once an order is placed it will be processed within 72 hours during business days unless otherwise notified.

The following is a general guideline of postage timeframes once the item has been lodged with Australia Post. These times are in addition to our 72 hours processing time.

Melbourne to Metro ACT, NSW, SA and VIC – 2-3 business days

Melbourne to Metro QLD and TAS – 3-4 business days

Melbourne to Regional Australia, NT and WA – 6+ business days

Melbourne to New Zealand – 2-3 business days

Please note we rely on Australia Post’s delivery timeframes. These timeframes are not guaranteed. Delivery to remote areas may take longer.

All orders require signature on delivery. Please ensure you ship to an address where someone is available to sign for the delivery. If a receiver is unavailable a card will be left by Australia Post and collection can be made at the post office. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer authority to leave without a signature.

Mini Hippo Imports has an automated postage system and orders will be sent to the exact address entered when your order is placed online. We take no responsibility for orders being sent to incorrect addresses entered by the purchaser. If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address, or failure to accept a delivery (eg. post box notification slips) you will be charged additional postage to re-deliver the goods.

Failure to pay a reshipping fee will result in a refund of the order minus original freight charge plus a $15 restocking fee.

We ship from our warehouse in Cheltenham, Victoria.

We ship from a very busy warehouse, unfortunately we do not allow pick up of orders for health and safety reasons.

Can I add to or alter my order once I’ve paid for it online? 2017-11-04T23:17:09+00:00

We are unable to make additions or deletions to orders once they have been placed. If we are unable to fulfil any part of your order we will notify you prior to posting. If you have entered the incorrect postage details please email us immediately at info@minihippoimports.com.au with the correct details.

We guarantee our products against manufacturing defects, such as issues with any parts or material defects, for six months after purchase. Proof of purchase is required. We do not guarantee our products for issues related to wear and tear including rips, spills, scratches, chips, mould, fading, stains and odour. Please keep in mind that although our products are designed for children, they are not indestructible.

If you have purchased one of our products from an independent retailer you are required to contact them directly with any warranty concerns.

We are happy to credit or exchange any unopened goods within 14 days of delivery, provided that we receive the goods in their original condition. Returns will be approved at our discretion and all postage costs are to be incurred by the customer. A restocking fee of 6% of the order value is charged on refunds for orders placed using Afterpay. If the product is not in original condition (eg. damaged upon receipt, removed from original packaging or has clearly been used), we will be unable to accept the goods and they will be returned to you at your cost.
