The FunBites food cutter is your meal prep sidekick
Cutting sandwiches into halves or quarters is so last year. Now, it’s all about bite-size pieces – especially if you’re feeding fussy eaters. But it comes at a price: it’s time consuming. Or at least, it was until the FunBites food cutter came along.
Bobbie was just like any other mum with a fussy eater: frustrated, stressed and well and truly over it. She was sick of cutting her daughter’s meals up into teeny tiny pieces and convincing her kids to try new, “exciting” foods… all to no avail.
So, Bobbie got busy. She invented FunBites, the easy-as-pie food cutter that’s perfect for big and little fingers. With a super sturdy and durable curved blade cutter, FunBites can cut through just about any of your child’s favourite (or soon-to-be favourite) foods.
They also come in six colours – red, blue, pink, yellow, orange and green – which means there’s a FunBites food cutter for everyone.
How it works:
-
Place your FunBites cutter on top of whatever you want to cut – sandwiches, fruit, brownies, cheese, pancakes, you name it.
-
Remove the ‘popper’ top insert (you’ll use it shortly).
-
Hold the handles of the cutter and press down firmly, rocking back and forth a few times to really get in there.
-
Insert the popper top, lift up the cutter and push down on the popper top.
-
Now, you have a bunch of bite-sized bits, ready to serve.
The plastic is BPA-free and totally food safe, plus (and this is our favourite part) the cutters and poppers can easily go through the dishwasher – on the top shelf – for easy cleaning.
But that’s not all. Did you know that your FunBites cutter isn’t just great for food? It’s perfect for play, too. Whether it’s making play dough shapes or painting patterns, your FunBites cutter can effortlessly take you from weekend activity to weekday lunch packing.

Combine two cups of plain flour and salt, then add water (one cup), two drops of food colouring and a tablespoon of oil. Knead the mixture, adding more flour if the consistency is too wet, and spread it out onto a flat surface and get cutting.
