ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Bobbie Rhoads has a solid background in business development, including an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, two years in advertising and public relations, and ten years with Revlon as a VP. Her background gave her a solid foundation in marketing on which to grow her business.
Bobbie designed FunBites because she, like many mothers, spent too much time getting one of her daughters to eat well. Being a young picky eater her youngest liked the same food all the time and didn’t like to try new things. By cutting food into small shapes she found her daughter was more interested in different foods so they looked for something that would enable them to speed up the cutting process. The idea for FunBites was born!
Back in 2015 Bobbie pitched the business on the US television show Shark Tank. After selling $150,000 USD in product in the past year, the former marketing executive at Revlon made a deal with the queen of QVC, Lori Greiner. Greiner invested $75k for 25% equity of FunBites and the rest is history…

” This FunBites is a pretty cool invention. I do not have children at home (expecting our first in June!!) but my niece does come to mine and my husbands home very frequently. She is three years old and she thinks this is the coolest thing ever! It keeps her food in bite sizes and makes eating something more simple for her instead of holding a whole sandwich and it falling apart! “
” Perfect for cutting sandwiches into bite-size pieces for my 1-year-old. “
” I mainly ordered this for my 2 year old to encourage him to eat better! But upon arrival I showed it to my husband, 7 year old and 10 year old and they were all super excited. “
